How do you take a game's ROM and what are some good editing sites?

You can find ROMs on different sites on the internet (look one up on google), but there are some sites that have only corrupted ROMs so be careful. Somegood sites are Pokemon Hackers Online and Whack a Hack. Here are links:

Yeah, but i dont know what site to upload it on, also I need to change the scripts and some trainer sprites for gyms and such, like if we're doing the stronghold idea.

Sky, you're just planning on putting out the ips, not the actual patched rom right?

If so, you could probably just use megaupload.

yeah, just the patches. That's because it's illeagal to re-distribute roms that have been messed with (in our case "hacked"), and if I did, I'd be thrown in prison Sad

So I'll just end up using Megaupload.
